Problem is: It is not just a game of numbers. This box got

memory-consuming top- and wget-processes.

Then things were as good as normal.

I use /usr/sfw/bin/wget for a number of years now (since 2005).
I use to keep it running for days (for example did I fetch the
sunsolve system-handbook before it got access-restricted in April
2005).
Never did I see things like this.

But, admit it, /usr/bin/top consuming 1.3GB of mem, that cannot
explained anymore.
