For Switzerland, it's necessary to add a line.

So basically, here's what I did :

Run "pfexec /usr/bin/nvidia-xconfig" to generate /etc/X11/xorg.conf
(since I have an nvidia board).

Then edit xorg.conf.

I added the following lines to the InputDevice keyboard section :

Section "InputDevice"
    # generated from default
    Identifier     "Keyboard0"
    Driver         "keyboard"
    Option "XkbRules" "xorg"
    Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
    Option "XkbLayout" "ch"
    Option "XkbVariant" "fr"
    Option "XkbOption" "fr"
EndSection        

It worked! Thanks!
