[indiana-discuss] Rear channel audio control help

I have an SB Live Audigy 2 board.

I tried the OSS drivers, and they think they're working (osstest audio shows up on the proper channel meters in the mixer), but all I got out of the speakers was a constant low buzz.

I uninstalled the OSS drivers and tried the the audio driver provided by Jürgen Keil on http://www.tools.de/opensource/solaris/.  This work great, but I have no control over the rear channel volume.

So, now I'm between a rock and a hard place.  Either I've got full volume control but no sound, or sound that I can't control the volume.  Any ideas what I should do next?
