of course they work, but if they are not included in the installation 
CD I have to reboot to another OS to download them.
Isn't solaris supposed to be a replacement for another OS, rather
than depend on it to download drivers?

There's plenty of other GPL software in 2008.11, I wonder why
such a basilar piece of software wasn't included.
