Sorry, Solaris does not yet support a good way to automatically save
and restore volume levels on reboot.  We will likely add such a feature
after the OSS integration.  It doesn't make sense to make this work for
the exisitng SADA infrastructure when we are in the process of replacing
it.

Does audioplay ship on OpenSolaris?  If so, then you could run 
"audioplay -v 100" if you want volume to be 100%, or whatever value
you want.

You could run this in the display-manager PreSession script if you want 
this set for all users, or run it in your .profile if you want
it just for a specific user.
