Run 'Xorg -configure', edit the generated xorg.conf.new file and put it in /etc/X11/xorg.conf, as usual. This worked for me fine, but I've lost GLX completely with VBox 3.0 release, so am back to the second beta. I *think* the problem is with the Guest Additions; on one of my systems I left the old ones and GLX was OK. ( http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19610 still does not have any comments).
