Which version of Windows did you use?
I tested Windows2003(32bit), Windows XP 32/64, Vista 32/64.

I think that it's the best method to try OpenSolaris for Windows users. 
It doesn't need CDR,USB Memory, partitioning, and It's much faster than LiveUSB, LiveCD.
