I had a similar situation, eventually I found that I could change the path to the Java Runtime Environment by running the RunInstaller script with the '-jreLoc' pointing to the location of the alternate JRE ... ./runInstaller -jreLoc /usr/java/jre -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
