[indiana-discuss] about kvm switches and recognition

On a recent install from osol-11 101b. Once installed, at the grub
screen my keyboard (attached to KVM switch is not recognized, but
later, after boot is complete it works fine.
The KVM is an Iomega mini-view 4prt `Symphony'. `Symphony' I guess,
because it offers audio switching too.
I've had the same problem in some cases with linux installs attached
to this kvm. I also have 2 windows xp boxes attached that seem not to
have the problem... although there isn't much reason to notice such a
thing when booting windows (with no boot manager).
The install media for svn_101b had no such problem, keyboard and mouse
were recognized at all stages.
There must be something I can add to the boot drivers or somewhere
else that will allow the keyboard to be seen at grub screen.
Something that is apparently brought into play once boot has completed.
