Something like that, or perhaps something preventing D-Bus to be able
to connect to the system Bus, such as the DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS
becoming lost or corrupt.  Or a socket file used by ORBit or D-Bus
becoming unusable for some reason.
