Attached is a snapshot of my desktop.
As you can see, there is "Assistive Technologies" in panel, but i'm
unable to remove it from the panel!? even after logout, and the process
at-spi-registryd isn't running

In System->Sessions Preferences, there is "AT SPI Registry Wrapper
" (/usr/lib/gnome-session/helpers/at-spi-registryd-wrapper) and "Visual
Assistance" associated to the command "gnome-at-visual -s"
Even after i suppressed them, and logout/login, it is alwayys here as
stated in the screen snapshot

Finally, with the use of gconf-editor, i set
/desktop/gnome/accessibility/keyboard/enable to false
et AT icon disappeared from the panel.

Perhaps it will be ok now, i will report any new problem. In this case,
the problem will be really related to at-spi-registryd, so to reproduce
it, i think it is necessary to activate all assistive technologies daemons.

thanks,
