Great! I think I was able to get it working.

This time, I downloaded a new copy of the source. Changed every single place I saw lldap, llber. Even the macro, .in files. Ran autoconf. Set CFLAGS to /usr/include/openldap.

Now it worked.

The first time I tried it, I was changing just the configure script. Then, I started to change the aclocal.m4 etc... but something must've been getting cached. I was sure I removed config.cache too though. I think I missed the files in saslauthd directory.
