Hi all,

I have a small Intel desktop system which I've tried to update. The new
environment won't boot. Booting with -kd and -v I see the following
before it hard-hangs somewhere in SMBIOS land it would seem:

Start to prepare identity map for rmrr
    Adding iova [0x1000 - 0x9e000] to domain_vmem_0
    ...
    Adding iova [0x100000000 - 0x12c000000] to domain_vmem_0

And then it hangs. It doesn't drop into the debugger. Searching for
"Adding iova" and OpenSolaris turns up some bug which had an available
description, but is no longer on bugs.opensolaris.org.

Interestingly it'll boot 32bit (editing the grub menu), but if it does
it's nearly impossible to use. There are some other messages when
booting 32bit:

    /kernel/drv/austr: undefined symbol 'sunstr_fini'
    ...
WARNING: mod_load: cannot load module 'austr'

This seems to be unrelated to the other boot issue though, since the
other one fails so early.

I tried the liveDVD (since it's too big to be a CD) as well and had
exactly the same behavior when booting 64-bit.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

- Matt
