[install-discuss] Installing Solaris 10 8/07 on Dell d830 laptop dual core 64 bit processor

I have the same problem with a dell d830 laptop. After getting past the infinite crash/reboot problem by disabling ACPI the system hangs at


Hangs while booting
NPE0 0, 0;

Does anyone have a clue for this problem.
