I'm experiencing something similar, trying to install b54 on an intel 945GZ express chipset motherboard (MSI 945GZM3 with 2 GB DDR2 RAM and a P4 3.0GHz hyperthread CPU).
I'm seeing the temperature alarm as -247C, which I don't think it is, it's around 25 degrees (C) in here, there's no liquid helium on the floor ....

How would I go about starting an install?  I've built a b54 DVD from downloaded prebuilt binaries, but that doesn't give me a chance to do much except choose to install Solaris (presumably with X11) or Solaris TTY.
