That board is fully supported in non-RAID mode with the AHCI driver in 
current Solaris Nevada, OpenSolaris,
Solaris Express.  You set the bios to AHCI mode, the south bridge chip 
is ESB-2 and has approx 6 SATA
ports.   We do not have a RAID driver for this part under development at 
this time.
