gnome-desktop branding patch needs rework

Today I bumped gnome-desktop to 2.21.2.
The gnome-desktop-01-jds-about-branding.diff branding patch fails to 
apply because gnome-about.c has been replaced with a python script that 
generates the GNOME About dialog.

Is anyone up for porting the gnome-about.c portion of the above patch to 
python?

I have disabled the patch in gnome-desktop.spec to allow the builds to 
continue.
