I completely agree. There is one thing which may require some
communication within Sun... currently it seems that if any customer asks
for ksh93 they get redirected to "dtksh"... which is... uhm... not
really usefull (it's based on an alpha version of "ksh93d" and it's
ksh93 basis was never updated since then (except some cosmetic work)).

who actually investigated this path feel sometimes that Sun support was
taking the mickey out of them and simply dropped dtksh and any further
suggestions from Sun and started to ship their own ksh93 binaries.
It may be nice if Sun support would either suggest to "... build ksh93
from source..." (for Solaris <= 9) OR redirect them to
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/ksh93-integration/ (for Solaris >=
10) ... but avoid the suggestion to use "dtksh" in any case...
