I checked them all.  It's not there.

Interestingly...  Now that I'm at home and invoking the new ksh93
from ssh, it's not printing this error message.  I'll have to try
again when I'm in the office tomorrow and I can use truss to find
the culprit.

And while this is a fun goose chase, it has nothing to do with the
bug I filed....  :-)
