I'm content to believe that the team in china is working feverishly to provide a solution. The saving grace is that, except for the wireless problem, Solaris beats the heck out of Linux on my Z61 Thinkpad. Of course there are a whole bunch of special devices that neither one handles, but my Linux installation hasn't been very stable while Solaris has.

The last piece of the puzzle I need for work on my laptop is going to be handled by Solaris soon... Encrypted partitions. All of this can't come too soon for me, but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.
