Hello,
I'm trying to setup wireless networking on my laptop (Toshiba Tecra M2
w/Intel Centrino). I'm running Solaris 10 and have installed the iwi
and wificonfig packages successfully. But, I'm getting stuck on trying
to plumb the iwi interface. I'm running the following command:
# ifconfig iwi0 plumb
ifconfig: plumb: iwi0: No such file or directory
I restarted the laptop and did notice the following messages.
Nov 29 10:38:48 Solaris10 genunix: [ID 819705 kern.notice]
/kernel/drv/iwi: undefined symbol
Nov 29 10:38:48 Solaris10 genunix: [ID 826211 kern.notice] 'mac_free'
Nov 29 10:38:48 Solaris10 genunix: [ID 819705 kern.notice]
/kernel/drv/iwi: undefined symbol
Nov 29 10:38:48 Solaris10 genunix: [ID 826211 kern.notice] 'mac_alloc'
Nov 29 10:38:48 Solaris10 genunix: [ID 472681 kern.notice] WARNING:
mod_load: cannot load module 'iwi'
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Na
