That thread is too old to be useful (4 months. OpenBSD 4.0 will have the wpi drivers. As for NDISwrapper, it is incomplete and buggy. The latest Broadcom drivers won't link against it, and the earlier ones crash frequently. It's probably something that Broadcom does around the NDIS api but is still valid under Windows. When one of these low level drivers crash, it wreaks havoc with the system, sometimes corrupting the filesystem. It got so bad that I picked up an pmcia card and used the ath drivers instead of my builtin broadcom wireless. With the Intel Linux drivers open-sourced, I don't see why this is such an issue.

Suse 10.1 works. However, it's Solaris that I want to use, so I'll keep trying until I can.
