[laptop-discuss] Help with NIC wanted

Hi.

I have an ASUS W2V Laptop with OpenSolaris b49 installed.
Installation went fine. Now I'm sitting here and trying to bring up my
network card first. Then I'm going to try to get the screen working.

Now back to the network card.

It's a: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller

I'm getting the following error message once in a while, and I believe
it has something to do with the NIC.

WARNING: pci8086, 1001 - e1000g [0] : Could not identify hardware.

"ifconfig -a plumb" didn't help either.
