Hi Alan,

I've been playing around and had to reset my keyboard to the correct version via kdmconfig and chose Xorg, which I was using the while time altho will look @ the processes to confirm.

I'm really happy with the OpenSolaris build however was wondering if you could shed any light on the following 2 points:

1. I have a Dell Latitude D610 with an Intel 915GM video card, and a 14" SXGA+ display. The resolution on windows can go upto 1400x1050 and on linux there has been a fix/hack called 915resolution. The 915resolution is just C code so i guess it should be portable to open solaris, and i think some1s done something similar to get a res of 1280x1024. I was wondering if you've come across an easier way to get the res upto maximum or had any advice?

2. Is there any way to avoid those awful system beeps that sound like a WW2 fog horn!!

Cheers - Harvey
