[laptop-discuss] OpenSolaris on HP nx6325 ?

Hi,
my name is Roman, and I am from Austria. This is my first post on this group. I would like to thank people who could help me or could give me hints on things to concern about, when installing OpenSolaris on my laptop.

This is a HP nx6325. 
CPU: AMD TL 60 (2Ghz, dual-core)
Graphics: on board ATI which consumes 128 MB of RAM

My intention would be to install Nexenta. Any hints appreciated.

What I read in postings from Linux-groups as well as here is, that there could be
problems with either ACPI, or the graphic card from ATI, which doesn´t  like to have much support at all.

So, I would be happy to be a mobile user of OpenSolaris. Any help and hints appreciated.
