Thanks for replay David!
I'm running GNOME desktop.
Just little bit before I got your answer I managed to find a working workaround to install 'frkit' script as I didn't know for 'chmod'... I took another script named 'install' which asked to show or to install in terminal after dubleklick. So I opened it and I exchanded the text inside for the 'frkit' text and then renamed it from 'install' to 'frkit'. After doubleklick it asked if I want to install... It would be easier if I knew about 'chmod'... I don't know why one opens and another not even if they have same symbols (with small 'sh') on them...
So, how do I use 'frkit'? Command 'batstat' should show me the battery status, all right? How do I get (run) gnome battery applet and gnome emi-freq applet or is that already done by running 'batstat'?
I will try to install (copy in /usr/local/bin) 'gkrellm-2.2.7-battery' when I come home. How do I run it after the install?
