There is a small cosmetical problem with 'inetmenu' on my laptop.
After the boot and login and just before machine starts, I'm getting error message on each start.
I translated the error message from german so this is not exact text which possibly would come on english but is certanly very similar.
'Internet address for unknown could not be found. Because of that reason GNOME can not work correctly. This error can possibly be corrected by adding unknown to '/etc/hosts'.'
I understand that GNOME can't work correctly because 'inetmenu' resets the system and deletes hostnames and so prevents automatical network configuration on Solaris startup (we wont to choose that connection after system start).
Is there some way to avoid this error message?
If I have to add the hostname (and IP address) 'unknown' to /etc/hosts which exact text I have to add? There is also no IP address which I could add as I get the IP adress later over DHCP...
Maybe somebody could also post her/his text from /etc/hosts...
