Hi Jürgen,

you are quiet right, it's not exactly the raid controller or AHCI,
on my laptop it's the SATA Native Mode which i had to disable.
Maybe is this mode that what you call AHCI, sorry but i'm not
so familiar with this PC/Laptop Hardware.

At the moment i stuck on the acpi and the sound device of that box.
The Sound looks like generally muted and i tried with the stuff from
your site (www.tools.de/solaris/audio) if you are this Jürgen Keil :-)
But unfortunately i couldn't bring it to work. I tried then the oss driver
from www.opensound.com and could install it and it recognized the
audio hardware osstest works fine but without a tone/beep.
The Led on the mute button is on and i don't know how to switch
mute off.
