[laptop-discuss] Updated Synoptic driver for Ferrari 3400?

Hi all,

I've just installed build 60 on my Ferrari 3400 to get my newly-acquired
Atheros wifi mini-PCI card to work (which it does very nicely!), and as
usual I ran frkit to get the battery monitoring tools, PowerNOW! driver,
etc. One of the things I used to install with frkit was a driver for the
Synoptic mousepad, which had the rather nice property of making the right
edge of the mouse pad act like a scroll wheel. Unfortunately, when I
install the driver, the pad doesn't work as it used to. There are no errors
printed on the console, so I'm not sure what the scoop is. Does anyone
here have any ideas? I really miss that "scroll wheel" functionality!

TIA,
