Yes, we've all been waiting for this for a very long time. The problem is, when it arrives it will almost certainly be WEP only. In the modern world that's not an awful lot more useful than no driver at all.

So, we're really waiting on two things; the 3945 driver and the WPA integration. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait. When I had working wireless on my old Vaio, the Solaris driver was rock solid -- better than the linux one on the same machine.

I even had a look at porting the BSD driver myself, but I'm nowhere near smart enough to get something like that working!
