LinkSys WPC11 v3.
Both cardbus and pcwl drivers installed (from opensolaris.org).
# devfsadm
# prtconf -v | grep pccard
value='pccard'
value='pccard,The_Linksys_Group,_Inc.,Instant_Wireless_Network_PC_Card,ISL37300P' + 'pccard274,1613' + 'pccard,network' + 'network'
# update_drv -a -i '"pccard274,1613"' pcwl
# cat /etc/driver_aliases | grep pcwl
pcwl "pccard156,2"
pcwl "pccardb,7300"
pcwl "pccard274,1613"
# ls -l /dev/pcwl*

# ifconfig pcwl0 plumb
Run "inetmenu" (opensolaris.org).
# ifconfig pcwl0
pcwl0: flags=201004843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,DHCP,IPv4,CoS> mtu 1500 index 3
inet 192.168.1.11 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.1.255
ether 0:6:25:2f:48:5e
# wificonfig -i pcwl0 showstatus
linkstatus: connected
active profile: none
essid: MACKIE
encryption: none
signal strength: strong(15)
Requesting DHCP config via inetmenu for pcwl0 can be a bit funny (it works on the second attempt).
I'm able to insert the card to a running system.
However, I get some error messages if the card is inserted pre-boot:
dip is: 0xdb393a30
parent dip is: 0xdb397368
set_cmd 121,fcb1 err 7f21
I have not tested WEP/WPA.
HTH,
Stuart.
