Not quite.  You don't need to build ON to use 75 now.  You'd use a bfu. 
Building the source is gonna take about 10 steps and about 2 files to
edit.  Unless you're offering something unique, IMHO forking or creating
another distro is next to useless.  Do you want explicit instructions to
using a bfu to upgrade ON?  I have the instructions in my head and can
easily jot it down, of course the instructions on the site are basically
the same, I can provide a more concise rundown of it though sparing the
technical jargon.
