[laptop-discuss] Awful Atheros reliability

Ok,

I've got an Atheros card in my machine, running the latest version of
ON, but it also occurs in b90 and B91 too.

I'm experiencing uneven traffic flow; when downloading off
dlc.sun.com, it slows down to 9KB/s, then it suddenly speeds up to
120KB/s. The signal is 'good' (according to dladm), and due to the
poor reliability of nwam, I've set it up manually. Is there anything I
maybe missing?
