Well my experineces say that cdrw is the command with a complex interface while
cdrecord is easy to use ;-)
If you did not yet use cdrecord, you should try it and see that it would be
hard to make cdrecord easier to use than it is now. The advantage of cdrecord
is that it supports more features and that it writes human readable error
messages while cdrw does not say more than just "it did not work".
