Does anyone know if there are any USB wireless adapters which will work on this platform, what chipset/brand do they have to be in order to work, etc. Thanks.

The zyd driver may work. I've been meaning to get to compile on
SPARC/Nevada but haven't
had the time (just moved).

the most current source of the driver is at
http://svn9.cvsdude.com/kdesolaris/zyd/trunk
and supports both zd1211 and zd1211b chipsets, and the al2230, rfmd and
al7230b
radios. A list of some supported devices is at
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/laptop/wireless/zyd/
(there are approximately 70 different vendors who use Zydas chipsets in
their
USB 2.0 Wifi devices).

The driver currently supports WEP, and WPA support is working (though
I've seen a panic
I've not been able to track down yet) for both my ZyXEL G-220 and
Gigafast WF748-CUI (zd1211b
device) adapter.

You'll need a copy of the opensolaris source tree to compile the driver,
and I end up putting
it in /export/src/onnv-gate and then symlinking it to /usr/src/onnv-gate
(since that's the default
location for the open solaris source in the Makefile)

hg clone ssh://anon@hg.opensolaris.org/hg/onnv/onnv-gate

Ben
