The case under discussion is a fast-track and has already been
approved. Fast-tracks don't get written opinions, so there's no
vehicle here, and Joerg is not an ARC member, and thus can't write a
minority opinion.

We could create a new case that proposes using star as-is (with no
compatibility fixes) as a replacement for /usr/bin/tar, and then vote
on the case. I suspect it'd be denied, and that it'd be a waste of
time.

However, a summary of objections as a parting shot (and not as an
official "Minority Opinion") would be reasonable. I'd even suggest
creating a "joerg-objection.txt" file in the case directory to hold
that summary for future generations.
