  Can we run a quick knee-jerk mailist poll to see if anyone even wants
  an election?  I am pretty happy with the way things are and the current
  OGB members are all top notch[1] in my books. Why fix things that are
  not broken?

  Perhaps determine that and then maybe poll the community to see what
  sort of election term is reasonable.  OpenSolaris.org is a long term
  vision sort of place and while presedential four year terms may not
  be required perhaps two year terms are.
