  If I understand you correctly, the actual sequence in this case would be:

 - Advocacy asks ogb to consider whether Advocacy should go and do this
 - ogb decides to ask Advocacy to go and do this
 - Advocacy goes and does it, comes back to ogb with a result
 - ogb says "thank you" and gives it a stamp of approval.
 -  Photo op appears in the trade press with ogb members crowded around 
large poster of new OpenSolaris mascot
