We've found in the past that most business can be taken care of
asynchronously, via email, with an "in person" conf call being a
fairly rare event. That said, I think it's a good idea to regularly
schedule a conf-call (say, once per week) so that if there's a need
we already have the time slot booked. But I'd also expect that it
would be assumed that attendance wasn't required unless we send out
a notice saying so. The CAB-that-was used Wednesday at Noon Pacific
as their meeting time, but calls themselves were usually few and far
between.
