[ogb-discuss] Advocacy Merger: Final Report

OGB,

The merger of the Immigrants Community, the Marketing Community, and the 
User Group Community is now complete.

During the last three months, we merged all three communities into the 
new Advocacy Community Group and deleted the old communities. URL 
re-directs have been placed for content that was moved, and a bunch of 
stuff was deleted as well. The three old community lists have been 
discontinued and archived, and the subscribers have been moved to 
advocacy-discuss, which now has 350 people.

During this process, we also migrated 50 user groups to individual 
projects (previously they were random pages/lists within the old UG 
Community). Several user groups were deleted at the request of their 
leaders or where groups had abandoned their infrastructure entirely. We 
also opened a few new user groups during this time.

The Advocacy CG now sponsors all the user groups and the Belenix 
discussion list, and we will sponsor additional projects in the future.
