Where would you expect to find "OpenSolaris people"?  It seems to me
that they would be found in OpenSolaris Community Groups, in particular,
the OS.o CG that is chartered to do ARC stuff.  As an added insurance
that interested parties are informed of the effort, new projects
(like this one) are anounced both on the OGB list, the OS-discuss
list and (IIRC) the announcement list, so it should be clear that
this is not a secret or Sun-only effort.

Note that all I asked the core contributers of the ARC community
to do is to create the project.  The project itself will be open
to /all/ OS.o participants who wish to contribute and participate.
Hopefully, Joerg, Martin and Shawn (to pick three who have commented
on this effort) will all choose to get involved - they will be
welcome.

I come into this effort with a perspective and bias, just as everyone
else.  With any luck, all of us will be able to meld our views and
desires into a proposal that will benefit the entire OS.o community.

There are enough +1's (and no -1's) at this point to move forward
with the project; I'll be sending a request under separate cover
to the OGB to instantiate the project.  I hope to see you all
there :-)
