No denigration is intended.  Let me make it as clear as possible.

The consolidations and the engineering taking place within them are
real things that existed long before I showed up and will exist long
after I'm gone.  It seemed handy to have a quick way to refer to them
in this discussion.  The place those things have within the
OpenSolaris Community is the subject of the discussion; the mere use
of a tag in the process of having that discussion should not be taken
to imply a particular conclusion.
