I can see this point of view and see the benefit in it, however I
personally think it is our obligation to our community to be open at all
times, if it can't be said publicly I question whether it should be said
at all.
Should the motion not pass we can simply add some additional
clarification to an OGB FAQ so that its clear why the list exists,
restrictions associated with it, etc.
I will add that, while I still disagree, there is value in providing a
private archived place for discussion which discourages private
non-archived (direct email) discussion. The archive can be of use to
future OGB board members for historical review.
