No it doesn't. Section 7.8 is about the granting of CC status, Sections
4.2 and 4.3 are about Membership - in fact Section 7.8 explicitly
states that Sections 4.2 and 4.3 define the rules for Membership.
There's no conflict here, but you seem to be determined to generate one
- for what purpose I do not know.

That's not a clarification, it is a modification.

Correct. And this sort of obsession with constitutional navel fluff -
which seems to be one of the main preoccupations of the OpenSolaris
Community - was just one of the reasons behind my decision. Thank you
for reinforcing it.
