[opengrok] versioned source with branches and tags?

Yes it can, but in order to be usable you need to use "projects" as
well. If you index everything in one big chunk, you will get hits in
all of the branches and tags.
I would therefore suggest that you create what we call "projects" in
opengrok. You should run opengrok once with -P to generate a project
setup. you could now edit the configuration file and define the
projects you want. I'm sorry but right now we don't have a graphical
interface to define the projects :(

a description on what you want and I can help you with it.
