[osol-announce] Project Open: Bluetooth Stack & Drivers

The initial goal of the project is to get a protocol stack for Bluetooth
ready for integration into the ON consolidation. Initially this will
include a driver for Bluetooth mouse. After that additional drivers such
as keyboard, audio, modem etc will be added either as part of this
project or follow-on ones.

One of the first tasks of the project is to determine if there is a
usable stack available under a suitable license for inclusion in the
OpenSolaris kernel. If there is we will investigate porting that.

We are going to start out using the drivers-discuss mailing list on
opensolaris.org until such time as we determine that separate bluetooth
alias is required.
