The new OpenSolaris website is now live: http://hub.opensolaris.org/.
Incoming traffic to the old site is being redirected to the new site.
The 1:1 redirects are still being worked, so we will send a separate
announcement when they are in place.

Refer to the "POST-MIGRATION" section of the content preparations
document for things to check on XWiki initially:

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+web/content_preparations

Read documentation about the website transition and XWiki:

http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Main/site-transition-faq
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Main/user-action-faq
http://hub.opensolaris.org/bin/view/Community+Group+web/site_features

File bugs and/or RFEs at http://defect.opensolaris.org/ under
Development | Website component 'site-xwiki'.

Check known issues in progress:

http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/buglist.cgi?quicksearch=site-xwiki

Two issues you will run into include:

    * When switching to the XWiki editor from the WYSIWYG editor you may
see this error message in red: "Exception while parsing HTML"
and/or the page lacks content. Use the following work-around: make
sure the URL reads "editor=wiki" after the "?" and the content
will appear and the editor will switch. This is an XWiki bug. It
is also documented on the content prep document.

    * When going to the Files page in your Collective, no attachments
are seen. Use this work around: click on Show -> Attachments at
the top of the page and the attachments will appear. This will be
fixed. This is also documented on the content prep document.

A snapshot of the final migrated content to XWiki is available at
http://stage.opensolaris.org/ for 6 months. NOTE: Editing is not
supported on the stage website. The site will be maintained with a final
migration snapshot for reference only.

This migration to XWiki is the latest step in the website transition. We
will be evolving the XWiki implementation consistently from this point
forward. Also, we will be moving to integrate the other website
applications with Auth. Look for updated transition documentation soon.
That work will represent Phase 3.

Send questions to website-discuss

Jim
