So, what are you and/or Darren suggesting? That we don't even bother
asking Sun Legal, that we drop the idea of including GNU xgettext (or
any other GNU programs)? Or what?
If you're arguing that we don't try, that's too bad -- we'll try. If
you're arguing for something else, let us know what that is; if it's
"follow the process" then rest assured that we will (the ARC and the
c-team would ensure that the any i-tem integrating GNU xgettext has
followed the legal process).
If you're suggesting something other than "don't even bother" or "follow
the process" then please explain carefully. Otherwise please stop
hand-waving about license issues -- that either wastes other peoples'
time, your time or both.
