I forgot to mention that I am sponsoring this case for Craig Mohrman and this case seeks a minor release binding. This is being filed as a fast track rather than as a self approved case only because the GNU tar version is changing in addition to moving the binaries from /usr/sfw/bin to /usr/bin. Cheers, Don
