This is not acceptable. It does not conform to the current building practices in 
SFW.

All the patching and merging must be done *before* the build. The builds occur 
on the same source code tree, patched the same way for any of the four supported 
Solaris ISA's.

We must be 100% certain that what we build is what we ship.
